COME WORSHIP WITH US
Welcome to our site!
People who aren’t familiar with MCC Churches often have the same question: “Is this a gay church?” No, the church isn’t gay…though many of our members are. We’re a progressive Christian church made up of wonderfully diverse people who are straight, gay, trans, young, old, searching, certain, traditional, and edgy. We’re trying to live what we believe: that God our Creator loves us unconditionally; that Christ calls us to follow and forgives us when we fail; and that the Holy Spirit inspires and unites us. We take our spiritual lives seriously; but we try not to take ourselves too seriously!
If you’re looking for an authentic faith community where you can join others on a spiritual journey, come on over to MCC Austin. Worship with us. Learn with us. Grow with us. You are always welcome here.
Always in Hope,

Fall Growth Groups
This all-church study takes an in-depth look at Micah 6:8 through James C. Howell’s book “What Does the Lord Require? Doing Justice, Loving Kindness, and Walking Humbly.” Join a group and explore answers to the questions:
- Who was Micah?
- What was going on when he spoke?
- How did his listeners receive what he said – and how do we?
- Who is this God who requires?
- What might justice, kindness, and humility look like for us?
Groups will meet once a week for 6 weeks beginning the week of October 8. If you sign up for a group that is not meeting at MCC, you’ll receive the exact address and/or directions from your group leader. You can purchase the book wherever books are sold, or buy one from MCC Austin for $8. Scholarships are available for those who need help with the purchase of a book.
